In memory of Jose Palacios - Friend and Colleague

José Manuel Palacios was the most recent Director of Finance & Administration at the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center. He passed away unexpectedly earlier this week in Silver Spring, MD. José was a consummate professional, able to see the processes, policies and procedures that need to be maintained or instituted in order for any organization to function efficiently and effectively. His operational knowledge genuinely facilitated the programmatic work the APALRC and the D.C. Language Access Coalition. José was an accomplished young man having spent time as a Fulbright scholar in Colombia and dedicated his life to advancing the opportunities of those who are less fortunate. His work at the National Hispanic Scholarship Fund exemplified his dedication for providing educational opportunities to all. We miss him dearly and extend our condolences and prayers to his family and friends.
